Abbotsford Mission Recycling Depot accepts two separate streams of recycling:

1. From residential homes at our two drop off locations.
2. Residential curbside recycling that is transported by the City of Abbotsford and District of Mission

Recycle BC

As of April 3, 2017, the City of Abbotsford and District of Mission are participating members of the provincial Recycle BC (MMBC) Recycling Program.

By joining the Recycle BC Program, the City of Abbotsford and District of Mission’s recycling services will be funded by the producers that supply packaging and printed paper. The municipalities will collect the curbside recyclable materials on behalf of Recycle BC.

To meet Recycle BC specifications, changes have been made to curbside and drop-off recycling procedures and the acceptable items list. To find out about what materials can be taken to our two locations in Abbotsford and Mission, please see What We Take.
